VERSE OF THE DAY - 2 Tim. 4:3-4

    2 Timothy 4:3-4 (AMP)
For the time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, 4 And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man- made fictions.
These two verses are prophetic in that they are speaking of a future time, other than the time Paul was now in when he wrote this to his disciple and son of the faith.

Today, I had just such an encounter with a couple of men on Facebook where they took the sound doctrine I shared and began to disparage me and requiring me to "pipe down" and "go away" There language had no honor or respect towards me nor towards God. These spoke as ones who do not fear God but are comfortable in their false understanding of doctrine and cannot bear nor tolerate correction, although their perspective was highly noticeable.

When their response to me became aggressive, I left them with one more word to address this lack of the fear of The Lord evident in their responses. I then unfriended one and blocked both. One of them was a friend of one of my close friends and no doubt, he will speak of me to that friend in a very poor perspective.

Brothers and sisters, we are living in a day where others will think to serving God by killing you, with either disparaging words or by physical death. We may try to reach out to them but let me say this, once Satan has entered their hearts, your words will not carry any weight. Only by the grace of God will they be brought to repentance. Do not let their countenance cause you not to love them, eve while they rain down upon you words intended to harm you. Love must prevail, even until death.

It is because of this as well as many other things that God will be allowing severe persecution to come upon His Body, the church. The time to separate between the tares and the wheat is coming very soon. A great outpouring of God's Spirit is also coming, one that will rival Pentecost but this will not come until He has separated between sheep and sheep. Then upon His true betrothed, He will release His power and anointing, only for those who walk in holiness before Him.

The time to come out from among her, the rebellious unbelieving church, and be separate by holiness to The Lord, is now upon us. This great outpouring of His Spirit that is coming will be called "Holiness to The Lord". Let the Spirit of the Living God indwell you and be the only influence in your life. Seek only Him and in so doing, turn away from all that this world offers. No longer shall you allow the distractions of this world tear you away from Him and His voice to you. It is time to HEAR the voice of The Lord and DO according to all He commands you.
