    Is There Anything Too Hard...

Is There Anything Too Hard For The Lord?

God had me as a witness of Him to a co-worker. Actually, he was my boss and manager of a small motel. I had been telling him of God and His love for him for several months with numerous opportunities to demonstrate God's power through various words of knowledge, words of wisdom and even prophetic words but this one day was one of the more unusual of days.

The maintenance men needed to get supplies out of the locked shed behind the office but when they went back there, a huge wasp nest had been created over the weekend. It was at least 10 inches in diameter and attached to the ceiling right above and blocking the door to the shed. They couldn't get in as that nest was very active with about 15 or more wasps flying about it.

I happened to be in the office when they came to complain of this to the manager. We all went outside to see what they were talking about and sure enough, there was no way anyone could enter without disturbing that nest and having the whole hive chasing after you.

The manager, my boss, complained that he did not have sufficient funds to call an exterminator. Holy Spirit spoke to me that I should command these wasps to leave. I thought, Okay Lord. So I offered to get rid of these wasps for the manager. He looked at me derisively and asked, "And HOW do you propose to do that?!" I answered, "I will command them to leave in Jesus' Name!"

He laughed me to scorn and mocked the very idea. You have to admit, this is not something you hear of every day but God spoke this to me and I believed Him. I told my boss, "Now you shall see the authority God has given to those who believe and follow Him over even the creatures of the earth."

Right in front of this man, I spoke out loud, "I command you wasps to leave that nest right this minute, in Jesus' Name!"

I then told my boss, he could send his maintenance men out to the shed for the wasps would be gone and their nest empty. He took one look at me and went out there himself.

Moments later, he returned with the most shocked look of disbelief on his face. The entire nest was now empty with no wasps in site. Just moments before it was a very active nest with a dozen or more wasps climbing in and out of the nest and flying about it. They were gone just as God said they would be.

In the coming outpouring of God's Spirit upon all flesh, we will see and hear of miracles like this one and even greater miracles, signs and wonders as God magnifies His great Name in all the earth once more.

The attitude of heart He is looking for among those that love Him must be such that there is no limit what God can do. The creator of the universe brought from nothingness to what it is today is not limited except by our own unbelief and traditions. Let us depart from all traditions that puts limits on an unlimited God. For He truly is God of everything including what to us seems impossible.

Rightly did Jesus say, "If you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Be removed and cast yourself into the sea.' and it will do whatsoever you command."

We, as believers, already have that faith, so it is not more faith we need but rather an obedient heart. For it is God who will direct us what to do, what to say and it is through simple obedience we shall say and do what He says. The results have always been up to Him as it is He that does the work. So let us not fear what He may ask of us but boldly do and speak what He commands us without limitations and then we can stand still and witness the great salvation of the Lord!
